Fix My Speakers is a free browser-based tool. This policy explains, in plain English, what data we collect and what we don't.
1. What we don't collect
The water-ejection tool runs entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. We do not upload audio, record microphone input, or capture any information about your device's speaker. We have no server-side logs of tool usage.
2. What we do collect
- Contact form submissions. When you send a message via the contact form, we store your name, email, and message so we can reply.
- Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe, we store your email address to send occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any newsletter email.
- Basic anonymous analytics. Aggregate page-view counts and browser type. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies.
3. Cookies
We use a single local-storage flag (fms_warned) to remember that you've dismissed the initial volume warning. That flag never leaves your device.
4. Third parties
Contact-form and newsletter data are stored on Lovable Cloud, our infrastructure provider. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or brokers.
5. Your rights
You can request deletion of any personal data you've sent us at any time by emailing hi@fixmyspeakers.example. We'll process the request within 30 days.
6. Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top and, for meaningful changes, notify newsletter subscribers.
